As the new superintendent for the Iron County C-4 School District, I want to welcome everyone back to what is going to be a fun and exciting school year. In 2005, I began my teaching career here in Viburnum, and I had the pleasure of working with excellent students and a fine staff.  I experienced what a great community this is, but I also discovered especially the great people who reside here. I have had some wonderful experiences working for the district as a teacher, coach, athletic director, elementary principal, high school principal, and now superintendent. My best experiences have been watching my students excel, grow, and accomplish their personal goals.   In moving forward as a school district, we will continue to stay focused on providing the best educational opportunities and programs for our students and community. This summer, the district has been very busy making several upgrades to programs and facilities in preparation for the upcoming school year.  These enhancements will generate a better learning environment and provide more opportunities for our students.

My sincerest expectation is that our students have a wonderful and successful experience while attending the Viburnum Schools. I invite parents and community members to become actively involved in the educational activities and experiences that are available to all of our students.  Additionally, I would encourage everyone to visit our office to learn more about the exciting educational activities occurring. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at (573) 244-5422 ext. 5.
